Happy Mother's Day, for Grade 1
1st graders learnt at "Infantil" a song to wish a happy day to their mummies and daddies on their days. This year, for the Mother's Day we are going to practice this funny song by "American Greetings" that uses the tune of William Tell overture ( by Giachino Antonio Rossini).
I hope you like it!

Tricia's talk for year 3
Last Thursday 23th, we had a fantastic English lesson by Tricia Audette. She talked to us about herself, but also about means of transport, type of houses and all the things we can find in a city. Then we played a funny guessing game and finally she told us "The three little pigs". But the really great thing is that she managed to make all the children talk (although they were a bit noisy!)
Thanks a lot, Tricia, for such a good time we had practicing our English!!

World Book Day
Today is 23rd April and it's a celebration in more than a 100 countries, including Spain. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, it's celebrated on the first Thursday in March.
It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of READING. On this date in 1616, 2 famous writers: Cervantes andShakespeare died.
World Book Day was celebrated for the first time on 23rd April 1995.
Do you like reading? What are your favourite books? Adventures? Mystery? Horror? Science-fiction? Comics? Legends? Fairy tales? Fantasy? Historical? Poetry?
...And here's a fantistic quiz about traditional tales we are going to work on today. It's has been done by teacher Pilar, it's a great job:
We like tales!!
Today we celebrate the World Book Day. And in years 1 and 2 we are going to know about traditional tales in English. We have been practicing their names in a worksheet that I've prepared, and here we can see the videos with the tales we've been talking about. With the first one we can practice the vocabulary used in them.
I hope you like them!!
